We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join a dynamic team and make a real impact. They will be responsible for coding and processing customer payments, utilising SAP accounting software and Excel for control checking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Jointly responsible for AP processes
- Coding and processing vendor invoices
- Obtaining necessary authorisations for further processing
- Training provided for processing on SAP accounting software
Person Specification:
- Highly motivated, with a strong work ethic
- Focused on providing real assistance to the management team
- Adaptable to a fast-growing environment
- Pleasant demeanour with a can-do attitude
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proven problem-solving abilities
Technical Experience and Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office, specifically Vlookups and pivot tables
- Previous experience in accounts assistant/payable role is crucial
- Minimum Finance degree with a 2:1
- Knowledge of SAP is advantageous, but training will be provided
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm (1-hour lunch)
Holidays: 25 working days plus 8 bank holidays
