An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Practice Accountant / Client Manager with 3 years experience in UK accountancy practice to join a well-established accountancy firm. This role can be full-time or part-time offering excellent benefits, hybrid working option and a salary range of £40,000 - £55,000 for 25 - 37.5 hours work week.
As a Senior Practice Accountant / Client Manager, you will manage key accounting tasks and provide strategic advice to ensure clients financial compliance and success.
You will be responsible for:
- Prepare and file year-end accounts and corporation tax returns.
- Submit VAT and self-assessment tax returns accurately and on time.
- Ensure clients comply with statutory deadlines and regulatory requirements.
- Manage a diverse client portfolio, providing tailored financial advice.
- Build strong client relationships and deliver strategic financial guidance.
- Advise on cloud accounting systems like Xero and QuickBooks.
- Mentor junior team members to maintain excellent service standards.
What we are looking for:
- Previously worked as a Client manager, Accounts Manager, Senior Practice Accountant, Accounts Supervisor, Senior Client Accountant or in a similar role.
- At least 3 years experience in UK accountancy practice.
- Background in managing a portfolio of clients.
- Qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA).
- Skilled in Xero, Quickbooks, Taxcalc, Engager etc.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Located within a 10-mile radius.
