Seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Inventory & Procurement Clerk to join a company in Edenvale, Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, processing receipts, and assisting with procurement tasks. This role requires strong organisational skills, the ability to work under pressure, and proficiency in Pastel and Excel.
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
3 -5 years of experience in inventory and procurement procedures and principles.
Proficiency in Pastel and Microsoft Excel.
Strong verbal communication skills.
High level of accuracy, integrity, and honesty.
Ability to work independently and adapt to developments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Stock Management:
Maintain accurate stock records reflecting current stock availability.
Process all receipts of new items delivered to the stores (stock items and buyouts).
Assist with incident maintenance related to direct stores issues, buyouts, maintenance, and grounds.
Receive and action all direct issue requests from the stores.
Documentation and Reporting:
Produce issue documents and prepare stocktaking documents when required.
Assist with stocktaking activities and process results for analysis.
Generate and provide information from the Pastel system as needed.
Procurement Support:
Assist the Procurement Officer with obtaining quotations, comparative pricing, and other tasks as requested.
Inform the Procurement Officer of any suspicious or irregular requests.
