Key Responsibilities: - Financial Analysis: Generate IFRS17, MCEV, and SAM results, presenting and explaining key drivers to senior management effectively.
- Capital Oversight: Oversee the production and analysis of capital calculations for relevant products.
- Ongoing Monitoring: Continuously monitor and analyse the financial impact of responsible products outside of valuation periods.
- Team Leadership: Manage a small team of professionals, providing coaching and mentoring to ensure their growth and development.
Qualifications: - Bachelors Degree in Actuarial Science
- Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa (FASSA) or 2 exams away from qualifying
- Managerial experience is advantageous
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial reporting and valuations
- Skills desired: Prophet, Python, and SQL
