Our client is seeking an experienced and meticulous Housekeeper to join their growing guest farm, situated in a serene and remote location near Montagu. This role involves ensuring that the property is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene while delivering excellent service to guests.
Location: Ouberg – 25km outside Montagu

Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, including bed-making, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitising bathrooms.
- Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, and linens.
- Draft and communicate weekly shopping lists for housekeeping and supplies.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests to ensure their needs are met.
- Oversee and manage the lodge’s housekeeping operations on a day-to-day basis.
- Maintain strict hygiene standards throughout the property, meeting business and guest expectations.
- Familiarise yourself with operational manuals and house rules, ensuring accurate implementation of guidelines and menus.
Requirements to Succeed in the Role:
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans; additional languages are an advantage.
- 3–5 years of relevant hospitality experience in a similar role.
- Good knowledge of food and hospitality operations.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Knowledge of Montagu and its surrounding areas is beneficial.
