Assisting customers with inquiries into spare parts. Assisting with inquiries into unpaid parts invoices and outstanding and open purchase orders. Assisting with inquiries outstanding parts on open orders.
Assisting the admin department with amending orders for invoicing.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Do parts quotations for customers
- Supply ordered parts
- Assisting with amending orders for invoicing. Check and sign
- Assisting the Parts Planning Coordinator to achieve his goal
- Parts Fill Rate (Delivery on time in full) of 90%
- Assisting customers with parts inquiries
- Assisting customers with invoice inquiries
- Assisting stores supervisor with parts queries
- Assisting with APR planning of parts
- Expedites orders and spare parts list documentation to meet customer deadlines.
- Prepares recommended spare parts worksheets to review
- Reviews RSP codes for accuracy and consistency within Job scope.
- Provides back-up assistance to the Materials Department at peak times with order entry and engineering changes.
- Organize and maintain file structure within quotation database.
- Participates in meetings regarding processing materials and spare parts.
- Participates in continual quality improvement of department work activities
- Assisting the Parts Planning Coordinator in all his duties as required.
- WIP management for own orders
Experience and Education
National Senior Certificate and a relevant qualification with 4-5 years’ experience.
