Content and Communications Manager
Our group of companies based in CENTURION is looking for an experienced and creative Content and Communications Manager to lead content creation and communication strategies, enhancing stakeholder engagement and brand image.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Research, develop, and implement internal and external communications strategies to build brand awareness and increase visibility, ensuring alignment across all departments.
- Lead an integrated, efficient marketing team that provides advice, support, and contributes to the growth of all departments within the group, coordinating marketing projects.
- Establish guidelines and manage content production aligned with campaign objectives.
- Handle communications budget, agency negotiations, and contracts in compliance with South African guidelines.
- Collaborate with various departments for marketing communications relating to member activities, reward partners, newsletters, etc.
- Research demand for products and services.
- Support sales and lead generation efforts.
- Contribute to the production of PR and marketing materials.
- Maintain existing and create new relationships with key contacts in (digital) media. Oversee and coordinate conferences, member events, major events, etc.
- Oversee social media marketing strategy and content marketing.
- Oversee sponsorships and corporate web/Intranet content.
- Ensure company-wide compliance with CI guidelines.
- Organize online events that support our marketing efforts.
- Create and update social media strategies by collaborating with marketing and content teams.
- Track and report on the progress and success of our content and communications campaigns.
- Assist with other related functions as prescribed.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Economics, or other relevant fields.
- 5+ years of experience in Content Production or Communications.
- Solid accounting and taxation background.
- Experience in managing people and teams.
- Knowledge of CRM software and CMS platforms.
- Thorough understanding of sales funnels and content production best practices.
- Proven experience in B2B and B2C project management is a plus.
