A well-established, manufacturing organisation based in Slough is currently looking for an Accounts & Costing Assistant to join their team on permanent, full-time basis.
As an Accounts & Costing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting strategic decision-making within the manufacturing business.
Working as part of a small finance team, the successful candidate will be tasked with a range of responsibilities, which will include:
- Maintaining and updating product pricing, costs, and customer price lists
- Managing the quotation process, ensuring timely and accurate information
- Handling financial tasks including credit checks, AR invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliations
- Preparing and analysing variance reports, monthly journals, and maintain finance records
This role is likely to suit a finance/accounting graduate with experience in an accounts role preferably in a manufacturing company. In addition, you will possess excellent Microsoft Excel knowledge and good analytical skills. The ideal candidate will be numerical, have good communication skills and be a team player.
