Role: Capital Accountant- Local Authority experience is essential

Daily rate: 400- 600 per day
Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting to an Interim Capital Accountant for a Local Authority based in the East Midlands.
Key responsibilities: Capital Accountant
- Supporting the Council to their Audit process with a specific focus on Capital and Fixed Assets
- Performing Data Mining on Fixed Assets Register
- Ensuring the Council's Fixed Assets Module is in line with financial statements
- Acting as a Specialist for all Capital and Fixed Asset queries
Person specification: Capital Accountant
- Experience in local government finance
- Experience dealing with Fixed Asset Accounting
- IFRS knowledge is desirable but not essential
