Seeking a proficient millwright to take charge of maintenance and breakdown. In this role, you’ll be essential in diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and maintaining equipment performance. - Craft Long- and Medium-Term Technical Policies: Develop forward-thinking technical strategies to shape the future of maintenance.
- Design and Optimize Maintenance Plans: Create and enhance maintenance concepts, leveraging risk-based methods like FMECA and RCM to ensure peak performance.
- Advise on Production and Maintenance: Provide expert guidance on production processes, cost control, and improving efficiency to drive operational success.
- Conduct Maintenance Scans and Reporting: Perform thorough maintenance assessments and deliver insightful advisory reports for continuous improvement.
- Implement and Enhance Maintenance Systems: Develop and refine maintenance management systems to optimize operations and resource allocation.
- Ensure Material Availability: Determine and manage the necessary stock of materials, including risk and spare parts, based on strategic methodologies.
- Lead and Educate: Guide maintenance coordinators and engineers, and share innovative methodologies to foster expertise and improve overall maintenance practices.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Maintenance Engineer, with practical experience in maintenance and asset management advisory. Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
- Trade certificate in a relevant technical field.
- Strong interest in staying updated with the latest maintenance techniques, with a commitment to continuous professional development in the maintenance field.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders to achieve common goals.
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
