My client is seeking talented engineers to join their team in La Mercy, KwaZulu-Natal, at the Dube Tradepost.
Key Requirements:
- BSc Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
- Must be willing and able to travel to Dube Tradepost.
Additional Requirements:
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a team and independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Generalist List of Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test mechanical components and systems for Point of Sale equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product designs meet customer requirements and industry standards.
- Optimize existing products and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Support the manufacturing process by providing technical expertise and troubleshooting production issues.
- Conduct failure analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the company.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation for design and testing activities.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth of the engineering team.
