Role overview
The aim of the Monitoring andEvaluation (M&E) practice at DNA is to facilitate the systematic andindependent measurement and assessment of project and programme design,implementation and performance. We conduct M&E with a strategic focus onenhancing performance, outcomes, and impact. We offer a diverse range ofservices that are customised to meet the specific needs of our clients. Ourultimate goal is to provide valuable insights and recommendations thatcontribute to improved performance, evidence-based decision-making, andenhanced learning within organisations.
- Developing data collection tools and fieldworkprocedures;
- Developing programme Theories of Change;
- Conducting quantitative and qualitative dataanalysis;
- Contributing to the writing evaluation reports;and
- Presenting to clients.
Requirements
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements to qualify:
- Master’s degree preferably in M&E, research,economics, development studies, or a related social science discipline;
- At least 2 years of relevant professionalwork experience in M&E; developing monitoring systems and leading on formativeand summative evaluations;
- Good qualitative, quantitative, and analyticalskills, including the proven ability to collate large volumes of qualitativeand quantitative data into detailed and concise reports and summaries
- Strong writing, presentation, and interpersonalskills;
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MSOffice (Word, Excel and PowerPoint);
- Willingness to travel within Southern Africa;and
- Legally able to work in South Africa.

Salary packages are aligned to marketrates and, based on the performance of the company, staff are able to earnannual bonuses.
