Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, civil, and process engineers, to execute mining and process plant projects.
- Conduct technical assessments and contribute to the selection of equipment, materials, and mechanical systems.
- Develop technical documentation, reports, and specifications aligned with project requirements.
- Review vendor drawings and specifications to support procurement activities.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and cost control to ensure project milestones are met.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and contractors to support seamless project delivery.
- Participate in project reviews, progress meetings, and team discussions to drive outcomes.
Ideal Candidate Profile:Â - Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering (recently graduated or within 1 year of graduation).
- Previous exposure to mining, process plants, or heavy industry (internship or work experience) is advantageous but not required.
- Strong foundational understanding of chemical systems, process machinery, and industrial processes.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Eager to work in a team-oriented environment and learn from experienced engineers.
- Willingness to travel and engage in fieldwork across remote locations in Africa.
- Demonstrates perseverance, enthusiasm, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Your place of work will be in Glen Marais, Kempton Park. Work travel and site visits will be required. Cost of travel will be for covered by the employer and time required away from the office will be limited to less than 20% of annual time.
