Job Description
A French company based in Cape Town is looking to recruit a remote Bookkeeper / Financial Administrator to work 20 - 25 hours a week. This is a remote position, but the client would like the candidate to be based in Cape Town to meet up once a quarter.
Responsibilities:
- Admin support to Head of Operations and Senior Partners
- Maintain and collate financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments
- Work alongside their accounting firm to implement cashflow report and review the current sales report data entry process and tracking
- Track and manage all payable and receivable accounts - accounting firm will process the invoicing and payments
- Administer the data input and tracking of the Client portals such as NIIT, Ariba, Coupa, etc. for invoice submission and receipt of POs
- Collate operational costs such as automated debit payments, subscriptions, company credit card payments, travel expenses per programme, etc.
- Current accounting system used: Zoho
Requirements - Relevant bookkeeping qualification
- Proficient in MS365
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills to interact with team members and external stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
