Duties & Responsibilities:
As a Structural POP Designer/Engineer, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with Sales Representatives and customers to develop innovative and effective packaging solutions. Your expertise in conceptualizing, designing, and managing structural projects will contribute to the successful realization of client objectives. You will work with various materials, create prototypes, and ensure the quality and timely delivery of designs. Your exceptional communication skills will facilitate interactions with clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Sales Representatives and clients to devise creative packaging solutions.
- Interact with customers to understand packaging design and display requirements.
- Provide conceptual structural designs aligned with client objectives.
- Utilize mixed medium materials to develop effective packaging solutions.
- Execute both routine and complex structural design projects within tight deadlines.
- Prepare structural design files for prototype, mock-up, and production phases.
- Maintain accurate project records in adherence to company policies.
- Ensure compliance with creative quality control procedures.
- Promptly communicate and integrate direct customer feedback.
- Provide design counsel to Sales Representatives and customers.
- Proactively suggest creative solutions to meet design needs.
- Efficiently manage time and tasks to meet project timelines.
- Fulfill additional assignments as directed by your supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial design or related field.
- Background in corrugated design.
- Proficiency in Arden Software - Impact CAD, Esko - Artios CAD, or similar software.
- Proficient in Adobe Suite of Software products.
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
- Effective and assertive communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
