Purpose of the Job:
Ensuring the day to day servicing of intermediated Employee Benefits clients and their advisers. Providing office support to the Broker Consulting Team. Identifying opportunities through a determined servicing culture. Taking end to end responsibility for support to the Broker Consulting team as well as direct interactions with Brokers, Corporate clients and members.
Overview:
Fund Installation - new business Process
- Assist the Broker Consultant with all aspects pertaining to the implementation of a new client.
- Monitor deliverables with Legal Services and Drafting of special rules.
- Monitor that rules are signed by Principal Officer and Trustees and submitted to the FSB.
- Receive and co-ordinate implementation of MANCO Investment Choice from Broker (if applicable).
- Assist the product administrator with reporting on New Business and Fund Installation outcomes through CRM.
Section 14 transfer process (Monitoring & Training)
- Provide Brokers with standard FSB Requirements template for member communication.
- Liaise with Brokers and/or Transferer/ee regarding FSB queries from the Section 14 Admin Team.
- Liaise with brokers and/or Transferer/ee to get required outstanding information for Section 14 transfers.
- Check all section 14 applications from brokers/transferor funds before submitting to Section 14 Admin Team for submission to FSB.
- Provide Monthly Reports of incoming and outgoing assets.
- Assist the Broker Consultant with New business quotes.
- Co-ordinate the internal risk benefit quotations.
- Handle and resolve Broker queries.
- Handle and resolve Client queries.
- New Business and retention targets on an individual and team level.
- Manage and maintain key team relationships.
- Build trust.
- Attend Internal meetings and other broker or client engagement sessions and functions when required.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure resolution of issues raised by brokers.
- Identify threats to, and opportunities for increasing broker support.
- Provide feedback to business regarding ways to develop product and service offering.
TCF
- Ensure that TCF is understood and practiced. Draw on TCF management information (and potentially contribute towards the input thereof) to monitor progress in TCF and address shortcomings.
- Keep abreast of latest TCF information and guidelines.
Requirements:
- Minimum Grade twelve (12) with Mathematics and Accounting.
- Three year tertiary Qualification in Financial Management would be an added advantage.
- Six (6) to Eight (8) years working experience in a financial services background.
- Employee Benefits and Client Servicing experience essential.
