About the Role
As a Chief Marketing Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies that align with our business goals. You will oversee the creation and execution of innovative marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, print, and events. Your focus will be on driving aggressive business growth and scale while maintaining a strong brand presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies, plans, and campaigns to achieve business goals and drive aggressive business growth and scale.
- Service Provider Management: Manage and monitor service providers to ensure they are delivering agreed outputs and continuously drive improvement.
- Campaign Management: Identify and allocate key service providers to deliver against campaign objectives, oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, and analyse their effectiveness.
- Brand Management: Lead brand positioning and messaging to ensure consistency and strengthen brand identity, create and manage the brand messaging matrix, and maintain favourable media relations.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team, foster a collaborative and creative work environment, and encourage team members to contribute ideas and take ownership of projects.
Requirements
To succeed as our Chief Marketing Strategist, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven experience (10+ years) in a senior marketing role, with a track record of successful marketing campaigns and team leadership.
- Strong understanding of current digital marketing techniques and best practices.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to think creatively and innovatively.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in marketing software and tools (e.g., CRM systems, Google Analytics, social media platforms).
The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
