Job Description
As an Accounting Consultant, you will play a crucial role in supporting clients of a software services companyh with their accounting needs, with a specific focus on software support for SAGE 200 Evolution as well as Listener software. You will work closely with senior consultants and clients to analyze financial data, prepare reports, and provide valuable insights. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in accounting principles, exceptional Excel skills, and experience in supporting SAGE 200 Evolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide software support for SAGE 200 Evolution, troubleshooting issues and assisting clients in optimizing its use.
- Assist in preparing and analyzing financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Conduct thorough financial reviews and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with clients to gather financial data and documentation.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to create and maintain complex spreadsheets.
- Assist in the implementation and optimization of accounting software, including SAGE 200 Evolution.
- Support senior consultants in conducting financial audits and reviews.
- Stay updated on accounting regulations, industry best practices, and updates related to SAGE 200 Evolution.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and concerns related to both accounting practices and software usage.
Preferred Qualifications - Relevant internship or work experience in accounting or finance.
- Familiarity with other accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Xero).
- Basic knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
Requirements Key Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with advanced skills in data manipulation, formula creation, and pivot table
- Proficient in SQL Server Querying and analyzing Data.
- Experience in providing support for SAGE 200 Evolution or similar accounting software.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
