Key Responsibilities
As an Export Manager, you will:
- Develop and implement strategic export plans to meet sales targets and increase market share.
- Identify and research new international markets, considering regulatory landscapes, trends, and competition.
- Build and maintain relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key global stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and distribution agreements while ensuring compliance with legal and company policies.
- Coordinate with internal teams (production, logistics, regulatory) to ensure timely product delivery and adherence to quality and export standards.
- Provide market intelligence and insights to support strategic decisions on international growth.
- Design and execute marketing strategies tailored to international markets, collaborating with the marketing team on campaigns.
- Monitor sales performance in export markets, addressing challenges, and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Stay updated on international trade regulations, industry standards, and legal requirements affecting export operations.
- Represent the company at global trade shows and networking events to promote products and enhance global presence.
Qualifications & Skills
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelors degree in Business Administration, International Business, or a related field (Masters preferred).
- At least 5 years of export management experience , ideally within the pharmaceutical sector.
- A proven track record of growing international sales and market share.
- Deep knowledge of international trade regulations , import/export laws, and industry standards.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical ability to interpret market data and identify opportunities.
- Leadership skills to inspire and guide a diverse team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and export management tools or ERP systems.
- Valid international drivers license , passport , and travel vaccination card .
- Willingness to travel internationally, often for extended periods.
