MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To manage the procurement and billing of specialised products in theatre stores.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- Ensure optimal specialised products availability in theatre.
- Perform stock holding processes pertaining to specialised products.
- Ensure accurate billing of specialised products.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Grade 12 with Mathematics (pure Mathematics).
DESIRED EDUCATION: None.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Stock control experience in a private hospital environment.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE: Working in a theatre environment.
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Procedure policies and procedures.
- Business Intelligence report analysis.
- Stock holding processes.
- Medical aid benefits regulations and formularies.
- Surgical products and prosthesis knowledge.
- Pharmacy Stock System.
