How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
The Commercial Manager will be responsible for ensuring that VitalAire sales objectives are met. This role requires the flexibility to work long and unconventional hours and being accessible to clients and employees. A key factor of success will be the ability to maintain good relationships with main stakeholders, especially Doctors, Key Opinion Leaders, Directors of Hospitals and private networks, Medical Aids, National Treasury and Departments of Health. The mission is to manage the Sales team in order to ensure growth objectives and ensure that each salesperson knows company products and offers efficient selling skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and develop annual sales strategy and annual sales plans for the year. Relationship building with public and private clients. Identify, and execute training of VitalAire staff with training Department support.
- Ensure that targeted sales, GPM’s and profitability met. Ensure VA policies and procedures are followed. Implement price and margin control policy. Compile monthly reports and maintain customer focus.
- Forge and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders. Conduct day-to-day performance management of the sales team in ensuring that sales are on track for achieving set KPIs (monthly, quarterly, mid-term and annual KPIs).
- Management of the sales team in order to ensure that customers (current and potential) are responded to in a professional and timely manner. Develop field sales action plans through coaching and effective continuous training. Protect value through keeping information confidential.

Educational requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree/National Diploma in Sales/Business Development/Marketing
- Matric (Senior Certificate)
Experience
- 5 years experience in a Sales & Marketing role.
- Management program and/or experience.
- Previous experience in the Healthcare sector.
