Key Requirements:
- National Diploma in Engineering (relevant discipline).
- Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineering Technician/Technologist.
- Labour Intensive Construction NQF Level 5 or 7 certification.
- Proficiency in Civil Designer, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD.
- In-depth knowledge of GCC, FIDIC, NEC, or JBCC contracts.
- Strong understanding of engineering concepts, industry standards, and relevant legislation (HS Act, Construction Regulations, Environmental Management Act).
What You’ll Do:
- Lead design teams and act as the design team leader on project components.
- Provide technical guidance and verify designs by junior team members.
- Manage and process survey and site investigation information.
- Conduct feasibility studies, master planning, and options analysis.
- Prepare technical proposals, procurement documents, Bills of Quantities, and cost estimates.
- Liaise with clients and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Ensure adherence to the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and promote professional and ethical practices.
- Solve complex engineering problems and provide innovative solutions.
