The Project Administrator will provide essential administrative and coordination support to ensure the efficient execution of projects. This role will assist project teams by managing documentation, scheduling, communication, and tracking project deliverables to ensure smooth operations and timely completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and organize project documentation in sharepoint and project management software.
- Manage queries and manage follow-up action items to conclusion.
- Prepare and consolidate weekly presentations and reports by workstream
- Monitor project task status, deliverables, and milestones.
- Generate regular progress reports for PMO and workstreams.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project information related queries.
- Ensure effective communication across project teams and stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to organizational standards and project guidelines.
- Support risk management by identifying and escalating potential issues.
- Utilize project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Power PPM) for planning and tracking.
- Maintain and update project databases and information systems
Educational Background:
- Business Administration and\or Project Management (certification is desirable).
Experience:
- Previous experience in project administration or coordination.
- Project administration for medium to large projects
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) is an asset.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Knowledge of project management tools/software.
- Proficiency in MS Project and scheduling is a must
