About TB HIV Care (THC)
TB HIV Care (THC), in existence since 1929, is an internationally recognised non-profit organisation. We provide health care services throughout South Africa to both the general population and communities at increased risk for HIV and TB, including adolescent girls and young women, sex workers, and people who use drugs.

Purpose of the Position
The HTS Technical Advisor will play a pivotal role in implementing, managing, and continuously enhancing the Rapid Tests Continuous Quality Improvement (RTCQI) initiatives, which include the Learning and Training Testers platform.
This role combines business and program data analysis, system and user support, and leadership responsibilities to ensure the electronic platforms effectively meet the evolving needs of the Department of Health.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in:
- Program management
- Health-related data analysis
- Technical support
with a particular focus on laboratory systems, including laboratory quality assurance programs and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives.
