Our client, based in Hartlepool, is looking for a Warehouse Administrator to cover Maternity starting at the end of January 2025. Reporting into the Warehouse Manager, the role will be to provide a support service to the Manager with respect to warehouse planning, with regard to all warehouse department documentation and system transactions.
Hours of work would be 8.00am - 4.30pm, Monday to Friday (40 hours).
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Preparing documentation for warehouse operations.
- Complete system transactions on time.
- Liaise with the production team to plan warehouse workload.
- To deputise for operations assistant when required.
- Issuing warehouse documentation/instructions as required
- Liaise with 3rd party transport contractors to agree delivery & dispatch schedules.
- Prepare shipping documentation as required.
- Liaise with operations to agree internal transport requirements
- Raise pick lists as required.
- Complete system transactions inside agreed timescales.
- Administer warehouse personnel records.
- Give assistance to other departments as and when required in preparation of Production and Stock reports.
Requirements:
- Excellent administration experience, ideally within a warehouse, production or logistics environment
- IT literate
- Good communication and organsation skills
- Attention to detail
