Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled
Electrical Engineer with over
10 years of experience in the
oil, gas, and construction industries to join our team in
Saudi Arabia . The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in electrical design, installation, and maintenance of systems within large-scale, high-stakes projects, ensuring all operations meet industry safety standards, cost-efficiency, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead electrical engineering design and implementation for oil, gas, and construction projects.
- Develop detailed electrical plans, specifications, and layouts for new installations and system upgrades.
- Manage the design and installation of electrical systems for power distribution, lighting, control systems, and instrumentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety codes, environmental standards, and project requirements.
- Oversee the testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment.
- Prepare and review electrical design calculations, drawings, and other technical documentation.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, project managers, and construction teams to ensure alignment of all engineering efforts.
- Supervise contractors and ensure timely delivery of electrical components and systems.
- Ensure the maintenance of electrical systems and provide ongoing technical support.
- Identify and resolve electrical system issues and ensure optimal performance throughout the lifecycle of the project.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
- Participate in client meetings, project reviews, and provide regular progress reports.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering within the oil, gas, and construction industries .
- In-depth knowledge of electrical design, installation, testing, and maintenance procedures.
- Strong experience with power distribution, electrical control systems, automation, and instrumentation.
- Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar).
- Thorough understanding of electrical safety standards and codes (e.g., IEC, NEC).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Knowledge of local Saudi Arabian regulations and safety standards is a plus.
Preferred Skills :
- Certifications (e.g., PMP, Chartered Engineer, etc.).
- Previous experience working on large-scale projects in the Middle East.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
