Main Purpose of the Program:
Safal Steel is launching the 2025 Graduate Development Program. The Graduate Program is designed to smoothly transition recent graduates from university to the work environment. The program provides challenging and rewarding work to develop our graduates into future leaders and technical experts at Safal Steel.
As a participant of the programme, you will:

- Work with experienced individuals who will support you throughout the programme.
- Gain valuable work experience in the Steel industry.
- Develop your teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Receive feedback and guidance on your performance and progress.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Diploma / B Tech - Industrial Engineering
- Diploma / B Tech - Electrical Engineering
- Diploma / B Tech - Mechanical Engineering
- BCom / B Tech - Finance / Accounting
- Degree / Diploma - Supply Chain / Procurement
- Degree / Diploma - Supply Chain / Warehousing & Logistics
- Degree in Sales & Marketing / Management or Equivalent
- Degree in Human Resources Management
- Degree in Law (LLB) / Economics, Politics & Ethics or Equivalent
Key Competencies/Skills Required:
- Strong academic record throughout the course
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good analytical skills
- Ability to work in a team, as well as independently
- Advanced computer literacy - Microsoft Office Package
- The ability to prioritise and multi-task
- Self-confident and self-motivated
- Proven leadership skills and self-starter
- Applicant must be a South African citizen with a valid ID document
