A strong familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and expertise in preparing financial statements is essential for success in this role.

We will trust you to:
- Be involved in the process of preparing the financial statements.
- Prepare draft tax calculations.
- Handle iXBRL filing in the UK and Ireland.
- Maintain the STAT ledger for local reporting requirements.
- Assist in the external audit process.
- Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Manage a team and review their work.
- Perform any ad hoc accounting-related tasks as required by the client.
- Be involved in monthly tasks, such as VAT returns.
- Prepare basic consolidated financial statements.
- Manage global local firms to meet deadlines.
- Maintain process documentation.
- Act as the gateway between local firm, Auditor, and client.
- Review and/or prepare ledger reconciliations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Strong accounting background (minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience).
- Experience managing a team.
- Willingness to learn.
- Innovative (recognize opportunities to be more efficient) and take initiative.
- Self-starter and problem-solver.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel.
