A global pharmaceutical company has a vacancy for a Finance Manager: Technical Accounting.
Duties & Responsibilities
Job Purpose:
Ownership of statutory, technical and controls processes as well as business development financial support.
Main Duties and Responsibilities are: - Tax
- Audit management (internal, external, BBEEE)
- Annual financial statements
- Group reporting (Tagetik) and reconciliations
- Group reporting pack
- Intangible assets
- Fixed assets
- Capex
- Controls and process optimisation
- New business development – support on P&Ls, contract optimisation
- IFRS 16
- Stock adjustments
- Maintain a strong control environment
- Ad hoc projects as required
- Timely complete all annual Integrity & Compliance trainings and declarations (Conflict of Interest, Code of Conduct, ABAB Awareness, Data Protection)
- Forwarding of all received Product Quality Complaints, Adverse Events and Medical Enquiries to the relevant person in Quality Assurance/ Pharmacovigilance/ Medical Affairs
Qualifying Requirements
- CA(SA)
- Minimum 5 years post articles experience
- Overall strong IFRS knowledge, strong financial modelling, excellent excel skills
- Experience with Power BI and Business Central would be advantageous
- Team management
