We are looking for an experienced Database, ML & AI engineer to join our team to help shape our ML/AI strategy and showcase the potential for ML/AI through early-stage solutions.
AI (our general term for data modeller, machine learning, and deep learning) is one of the decade's most exciting technologies. This role is your opportunity to build and deploy new AI products from the ground up.
The AI Engineer is a new technical role at our company. You will be part of a team helping chart our AI strategy and define the problems we are solving with AI. In addition, you will help build our AI development and production infrastructure and set our technical standards. To succeed, you must become an expert in building AI models and putting them into production.

REQUIREMENTS: - Matric or equivalent qualification
- A Bachelor's degree or several years of experience in computer science, data science, software development, or another related field; a master's degree is recommended
- Solid understanding of common programming languages used in AI, such as Python, Java, C++, and R
- Advanced knowledge of statistical and algorithmic models as well as of fundamental mathematical concepts, such as linear algebra and probability
- Experience working with large data sets and writing efficient code capable of processing large data streams at speed
- Familiarity with deep learning and machine learning algorithms and the use of popular AI/ML frameworks, e.g., PyTorch, Mlflow, NumPy, GPT 3 - OpenAI, TensorFlow
- Knowledge of relational databases and data architecture computer systems, including SQL
- Familiarity in computer science, data science, information technology and data modelling
- Knowledge of ER modelling, big data, enterprise data, and physical data models
- Familiarity with data modelling software such as BI modellers, Microsoft Visio, Erwin Data Modeler, or equivalent tools
TECHNOLOGY: - 10Y+ General SQL & RDBMS Experience
- 5Y+ In Dealing with Big Data
- 5Y+ API Development
- 3Y+ PostgreSQL
- 5Y+ Business Intelligence Tools
- Be able to visualise the data models into dashboards or KPIs
- Functions, Scripts, Triggers, Queries, ETL & Integration, DBA Administration & Optimisation
