We are currently working on an exciting new feature and are actively seeking an intern to join our team.

Your Role
As a neuroscience applications intern, your responsibilities will involve using and creating ZEISS arivis analysis workflows for neuroscience images and comparing them to third-party tools. You will develop a concept to approach the analysis, collect and create ground truth data, and test new functionalities in arivis Pro. Additionally, you will create demo use cases and documentation to showcase the capabilities of our solution and provide instruction for customer users. Through your work, you will play a crucial role in improving our solutions and empowering researchers to leverage them to advance the field of neuroscience.

Currently enrolled in a Master`s program in the life science area (biology, molecular medicine or neuroscience)

Successfully completed at least 3 years of study

Ability to interpret microscopy images of neurobiological structures such as neurites, spines, axonal boutons etc.

Hands-on experience with microscopy (bright field, fluorescence, EM, etc.)

Experience in Image analysis of microscopy images

Experience with arivis Pro and/or other Software of Imaging analysis is a plus

Curiosity and drive to learn about image analysis and deep learning

Ability to work in an independent, goal- and output-oriented manner

Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote setting

Good communication skills in English, both verbally and in written
