Our Class 1 Trunk Drivers work as part of a busy 24/7 operational transport team responsible for the movement and unloading of healthcare waste between our Transfer Stations and Processing Plants. You’ll act as a key point of contact with our internal customers, completing all associated paperwork and relevant documentation via a hand-held terminal.
Salary: £35,000
Hours: 45hrs - Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon (AM Shift - Start time between 4am - 7am)
*\*Preferably with ADR, however, ADR training can be provided!*
*Requirements:*
* Relevant driving experience and Class 1 License (with C+E entitlement), as well as a Full Driver CPC and Digi Card, preferably linked to an ADR certificate - packages 6.1/ 6.2
* The ability to undertake heavy lifting and physically demanding work, involving the safe movement of large, wheeled units on and off vehicles
* Excellent customer service skills and the confidence to interact at all levels, along with plenty of flexibility around working hours and a willingness to go that ‘extra mile’
