Our Materials Coordinator position will support the daily tasks in the shipping and receiving office. This full-time hourly position will work a 12-hour shift from 6AM - 6PM on a 2-2-3 schedule.

Duties and ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Respond to e-mails and phone calls in a timely manner, and assist drivers in a courteous and professional manner.
Monitor shipments and deliveries, to coordinate them to meet load ready time (LRTC) for the production line.
Keep all departments notified of product or trailer shortages to ensure we meet timelines.
Perform general office duties to include proper filing, completing required daily reports, and data analysis.
Provide excellent service at the shipping window to process, prepare, and deliver of bill of ladings.
Keep leadership aware of any concerns within the operation you may come across.

REQUIRED Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Will need to work weekends, holidays, and overtime according to work schedule.
Reliable transportation to report to scheduled shift.
Strong customer service, organization, attention to detail.
Basic math, reading, and writing skills to ensure accurate counts and paperwork.
Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner, and accept additional assignments.
Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Ability to follow instructions and follow through on assigned tasks and responsibilities.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, and Warehouse Management Systems (such as SAP).

Preferred Education and Experience:

Previous experience working in warehouse environment.
Experience working in an office setting supporting operations.

PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to sit for extended periods of time, and look at a computer monitor for most of shift.
Ability to repetitively twist or turn; stand, climb, kneel, stoop and squat, as needed.
Must be willing and able to safely lift, slide, push or pull product weighing up to 30 pounds.
Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and uniforms that are provided by the company.
