A client of ours is seeking a Procurement Administrator to join their team and support procurement processes while also assisting the PA with general administrative duties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and administration, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Duties

Sourcing suppliers and maintaining strong relationships.
Monitoring procurement policies and ensuring compliance.
Reviewing, comparing, and evaluating products and services.
Managing inventories and maintaining accurate records.
Negotiating contracts and preparing cost analyses and reports.
Assisting with budgeting and financial management tasks.
Ensuring effective communication with suppliers and internal teams.

Administrative Duties

Assisting the PA with managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
Assisting with general office administration, such as filing, answering phone calls, and managing emails.
Organizing documents, maintaining the filing system, and assisting with correspondence.
Assisting with travel arrangements and preparing itineraries.
Supporting event planning and coordination as required.
Assisting with preparing presentations and reports for meetings.

Key Skills

Strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
Excellent time-management and organizational abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Sage Pastel, and other relevant systems.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and multitasking skills.

Requirements

At least 3-5 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
Financial or procurement-related qualifications (advantageous).
Experience with vehicle parts procurement (advantageous).
Experience in an administrative assistant role, supporting senior management (advantageous).
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Qualifications

A certificate or diploma in Financial Management or a related field is preferred.
Experience working with Sage Pastel or similar financial systems (advantageous).
