Pertemps West Bromwich are looking for a CNC Setter/Programmer/Operator on behalf of our engineering client based in Tipton.

Hours: Monday-Thursday 08:00-17:00 with a 15 minute break in the morning and an hour lunch break
Friday 08:00-16:30 with a 15 minute break in the morning an half an hour for lunch

Pay: 14- 17 depending on experience

The ideal candidate will have experience in setting, programming, and operating CNC machines, with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency. In this role, you will be responsible for programming and adjusting CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts that meet exact specifications, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Program, set up, and operate CNC machines to produce parts according to technical drawings and specifications.
Ensure precision and quality by performing regular inspections and measurements of machined components.
Troubleshoot and resolve machine or programming issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Maintain and adjust tooling, fixtures, and machine settings as needed.
Draw and interpret customer specifications
Perform routine maintenance and keep machinery in excellent working order.
Follow all safety and quality control guidelines.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a CNC Setter, Programmer, and Operator.
Strong knowledge of CNC programming (experience with CAD/CAM software is a plus).
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
