We are working with a client based in Canterbury and are seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner / Management Accountant to join their friendly and dynamic team.

As management accountant you will be responsible for preparing financial reports, analysing financial data, and assisting in decision-making to improve organisational efficiency and profitability.

This is a temporary 3-6 month placement with the possibility of an extention.

Hybrid / Remote: 3 days per week in the office and 2 days per week working from home
Pay: 18 phr
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 9am to 5pm
Location: Canterbury

Main Responsibilities (but not limited to):

Posting monthly journals, reconciliation of payroll related balance sheet accounts.
Preparing month end management accounts, accruals and prepayments.
Overseeing the aged debtors and reconciling to trial balance.
Configure training for the planned roll-out of the full purchase ordering system capability.
Assisting budget managers with budget reports.
Responsible for quality checking VAT Returns.
Statutory Reporting to Government organisations.
Assist with the preparation of the annual statutory accounts and fixed assets.
Assist with the preparation of the three year rolling budget, including the creation of nominal codes, updating templates, consolidation of reports and data analysis.
Ability to support other roles within the finance department if needed.

About You:

The successful candidate will preferably be AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA/CIMA part qualified.
Have previous in a similar position.
Experience in Sage 200 and accounting software.
Be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
