*Requirements: *
* *An associate's degree and a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) License issued by the State of Florida*
* *Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) & Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certifications*

*About the Job:*
* Under the direction of Physicians and and Respiratory Director, perform all respiratory procedures in accordance with NBRC, State Regulations, and departmental policies.
* Recommend and implement appropriate respiratory care procedures and protocols based on observed abnormalities.
* Provides respiratory care to patients in acute, chronic, and emergency situations. Manages mechanical ventilation and artificial airways in critical and general care areas.
* Collects and analyzes arterial blood gases as well as administers aerosolized medications and other respiratory treatments.
* Initiates, monitors and manages patient’s oxygen through various devices including high flow nasal cannula and non-invasive positive pressure ventilation.
* Document patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures.
