Marshfield Medical Center-River Region Stevens Point Campus seeks Registered Nurses – Acute for Inpatient/Emergency Department. Join our nursing staff for our 24-hour emergency department with eight treatment rooms and one trauma room, and our inpatient staff with twelve private hospital rooms.

The Registered Nurse functions as a vital member of the healthcare team who contributes to the success of Marshfield Clinic Health System by demonstrating customer/patient focus, effective communication, professionalism and self-development, and teamwork. S/he utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care provided to selected patient populations and their families. This individual demonstrates excellent clinical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and leadership skills, and makes decisions consistent with Marshfield Clinic Health System policies, department protocols/guidelines, and the Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act.

Requires:
* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
* Current State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Nurse Compact License.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire; at time of hire preferred.
* Additional department-specific certifications, licenses, or memberships may be required (varies by department/location).
* Affiliated staff privileges at associated hospital may be required (varies by department/location).
* Two years nursing experience preferred, but not required.
