We seek experienced Code 14 Drivers to join our logistics team and assist with long-distance hauling operations, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of materials.

Position Overview

The Code 14 Truck Driver will be responsible for operating heavy-duty vehicles (34t side tipper) for long-distance transport, mainly within the mining and construction sectors. This role requires a highly skilled and safety-conscious driver with extensive experience in mining logistics and the ability to handle long-distance hauls. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

-Operate Code 14 vehicles to transport mining commodities over long distances.

-Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance.

-Comply with all road and safety regulations, including mining site-specific safety protocols.

-Secure loads properly and verify documentation for transported goods.

-Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.

-Communicate effectively with the logistics team regarding routes, schedules, and any delivery issues.

-Assist with loading and unloading cargo as needed, following all safety protocols.

-Report any vehicle issues, delays, or incidents immediately to the controller/dispatch team.

Qualifications and Skills

-Valid Code 14 (EC) driver’s license with a Professional Driving Permit (PDP).

-Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-distance driving, with specific experience in mining or industrial transportation.

-Strong understanding of road safety regulations and mining site compliance requirements.

-Ability to handle long hours and extended periods away from home, depending on route assignments.

-Excellent communication and organizational skills.

-Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and inspection procedures.

-Ability to work independently and demonstrate reliability and professionalism.

-Strong commitment to safety and adherence to company policies.
