Duties and Responsibilities

Conduct theoretical/practical classes as per the qualification requirements.
Organize relevant curricular activities to ensure that the subject, learning area of the learners are conducted in a proper manner.
Assess and record the attainment of learners.
Assist with the issuing and management of learning resources and equipment.
Monitor the Work placement for students.
Report and account for student performance in their programmes.
Record and report on absenteeism and perform other relevant duties within the ambit of teaching and learning.
Prepare formative and summative assessments and practical tasks.
Manage student’s attendance and administration of their documents.
Record and report on learners’ academic progress.
Conduct workplace monitoring for all learners.
Establish classroom environment which stimulates positive learning and actively engages learners in the learning process.

Qualifications

National Diploma, N6 or any relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering.
Must be a qualified Artisan – Red Seal.
Assessor and Moderator certification for Generic Management Qualification on NQF Level 4.
