Our community pharmacy in Blairgowrie is looking for a motivated new team member!

This would be a part-time contract for 22.5 hours per week. There’s also an opportunity to add 7.5 temporary hours per week to cover maternity leave. The role will include a Saturday rota.

At Davidson’s Chemists, the role of a Pharmacy Assistant is vital in delivering exceptional patient care. Pharmacy Assistants work both at the healthcare counter and within the dispensary, supporting other team members under the guidance of the Pharmacist. They help ensure the safe, accurate, and timely supply of prescribed medications to patients. Pharmacy Assistants also offer advice on common illnesses and minor ailments, recommend over-the-counter treatments where suitable, and provide lifestyle guidance to promote healthier living. This is a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you’ll interact with a diverse group of individuals and play an essential role as part of the pharmacy and local healthcare team.

If you’re new to community pharmacy, we’ll support you in completing your NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Healthcare Assistant qualification. Once qualified, you’ll have clear pathways for career progression, potentially moving into enhanced roles in the dispensing process or stepping into supervisory positions.
