Job Title: Lease Administrator

Job Description:
Comdev is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Lease Administrator to support our Senior Property and Leasing Director in managing our commercial property portfolio. This role involves essential lease administration, tenant relations, and general administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of our leasing activities. With Comdev's collaborative approach, you will also coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless information flow and high-quality service to tenants.

Key Responsibilities:

Lease Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure all lease agreements meet company policies and legal standards.
- Track critical dates, such as expirations, renewals, and rent reviews, and notify relevant parties as needed.
- Assist with tenant onboarding and move-out processes, ensuring all necessary documentation and services are provided.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for tenant queries, building strong relationships to encourage long-term leases.
Database & Record Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date tenant records, both digital and physical.
- Regularly update the lease database with tenant information, lease terms, and renewal details.
Lease Renewals
- Support management in lease renewal processes, including preparing proposals and coordinating with tenants and internal teams.
Marketing
- Occasionally liaise with our external marketing company for property marketing initiatives. This is a small part of the role and doesn’t require prior marketing experience.
General Administrative Support
- Provide ad hoc administrative support, including scheduling meetings, organizing files, and assisting the Senior Property and Leasing Director as needed.

Qualifications/Skills Required:

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills, with fluency in English and proficiency in both verbal and written communication.
Understanding of leasing and experience working with lease or legal documents.
At least one year of experience in a real estate or leasing environment.
Comfortable working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
