We are seeking an experienced *ICU RN* to join our team on the *night shift!*

The Critical Care floor is a 21 bed combined Intensive Care and Progressive Care unit focused on providing a high level of direct and individualized care to treat critically ill patients with a variety of life-threatening medical, cardiovascular, neurological and surgical needs. Our highly skilled team of healthcare professionals is dedicated to keeping our patients and their families healthy.

*Minimum Requirements:*
* Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited RN program. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) *preferred*
* Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Texas, or license with a compact state upon hire
* American Heart Association (AHA) approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
* Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Life Support (PALS) certification required within 90 days of hire
* _*Minimum of two (2) years of recent ICU/Critical Care experience in an acute care hospital setting required*_

*Job Duties:*
* Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care
* Assists physicians during examinations and procedures
* Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse
* Promotes patients’ independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications and self-cares skills
* Relies on experience and judgment to perform a variety of tasks and accomplish goals
* *12 hour night shift*
