Border Car & Commercial are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the safety and reliability of our customers' vehicles while delivering exceptional service.

*Duties*

* Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics on vehicles to identify issues.
* Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake services.
* Repair or replace faulty components, such as engines, transmissions, and exhaust systems.
* Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
* Communicate effectively with customers regarding repairs needed and provide clear explanations.
* Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
* Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.

*Experience*

* Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role is preferred.
* A valid driving licence is essential.
* Certification from an accredited automotive training programme is advantageous.
* Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and tools used in the automotive industry.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
