Key Responsibilities

Strategy and Planning

Achieve and exceed set product and portfolio targets, in line with planned requirements.
Develop product strategies aligned to divisional requirements as set out by the Divisional Marketing Manager.
Ensure effective implementation of strategies down the value chain and in partnership with RSMs and Reps.
Ensure compliance with and adherence to the Marketing Code Authority principles as enforced and approved by the company.
Ensure that activities always comply with relevant legislation, ethical standards, and company policies.
Effective planning, budgeting, and advertising management.
Forecast accuracy.
Align with the Marketing Manager and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure strategies align with business goals.
Work with the Access Marketing Manager and National Key Accounts Manager to ensure inclusion of Pharma Dynamic products on medical aid formularies, tenders, and KA listings.
Work with Business Development Manager and Business Analyst to identify new opportunities and provide market intelligence for launch decisions.
Achieve top and bottom-line objectives as per organizational goals.
Recommend and assist sales with market penetration strategies to reach expectations.

Management

Networking

Attend congresses as required.
Work in the field with TMs to ascertain their implementation of strategies and effective use of promotional material.
Identify training gaps in the field (product, education, implementation).
Manage and improve external stakeholder relations and company reputation.
Keep up to date with the latest pharmaceutical and medical trends to optimize sales opportunities and ensure the team understands how best to implement the relevant information to their customers.
Monitor competitor activity and competitors’ products and provide timely feedback to internal commercial stakeholders.

Digital and Automation

PRE-REQUISITES

Education:

Preferred: Business Degree and/or appropriate industry-related tertiary qualification and/or matric with industry appropriate sales and business diploma.
