AI/ML Platform Engineering Technical Lead (Azure)
Rate:- upto £600 per day outside IR35
Location:- Leeds (Hybrid with 1-2 days per week on site)
Length:- 3-6months
We are seeking a Technical Lead specializing in Azure Platform Engineering to enhance the infrastructure for our AI/ML and data analytics environments. You will design, implement, and optimize Azure-based platforms, ensuring scalability, performance, and security for machine learning workloads. In this contract role, you'll streamline cloud infrastructure to support AI/ML teams, focusing on automation and resource management.
Key Responsibilities:
Azure Platform Engineering: Design and optimize Azure environments for AI/ML workflows, ensuring high scalability and availability.
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform): Automate Azure deployments and configurations using Terraform to streamline AI/ML operations.
CI/CD Pipelines: Manage Azure DevOps pipelines for seamless infrastructure and AI model updates.
Cloud Resource Optimization: Optimize Azure resources for AI tasks, focusing on cost, performance, and scalability.
Security & Compliance: Ensure security best practices and compliance with regulations like GDPR for sensitive AI data.
Monitoring & Performance: Set up monitoring systems to track platform health, with a focus on AI/ML-specific needs.
Collaboration: Work closely with AI/ML engineers to align infrastructure with their workflow requirements.
Key Requirements:
Azure Cloud for AI/ML: Experience designing and managing Azure infrastructure for large-scale AI/ML applications.
Terraform & Automation: Hands-on expertise in automating cloud infrastructure with Terraform.
CI/CD for AI/ML: Proficiency in using Azure DevOps for automating AI/ML model deployment pipelines.
Cloud Resource Optimization: Ability to optimize compute, storage, and networking for AI workloads.
Security & Compliance: Strong understanding of security best practices for AI-related data and model management.
Desired Skills:
Azure Certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps, AI Engineer).
Experience with networking and cost management for AI infrastructure.
Familiarity with data governance tools like Azure Purview.
