Job Title: Stock Controller

Location: Bophelong, Vanderbijlpark

Job Summary:

The Stock Controller is responsible for managing and monitoring inventory levels, ensuring that stock is maintained at optimal levels to meet the bar’s operational needs. This role includes tracking deliveries, performing regular stock checks, and working closely with suppliers and the management team.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor stock levels and ensure that the bar is adequately stocked with necessary supplies.
Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
Receive, inspect, and log deliveries, ensuring quality and quantity are accurate.
Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate prices.
Collaborate with management to forecast stock needs and plan reorders.
Implement and maintain stock control systems and processes.
Track usage rates and ensure stock rotation to minimize wastage.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in stock control, preferably in a bar or restaurant environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in stock management software and Excel.
Good communication skills for dealing with suppliers and team members.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Matric Certificate.
