Position Summary: We are seeking a qualified Dispensing Doctor to join our team and play a pivotal role in our medical cannabis dispensing services. The successful candidate will be responsible for prescribing and dispensing medical cannabis products to patients in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

Patient Consultations: Conduct thorough patient consultations to assess their medical needs and determine if medical cannabis is appropriate.
Prescriptions: Write prescriptions for medical cannabis products based on patient assessments and medical history.
Dispensing: Ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medical cannabis products to patients.
Education: Educate patients about the benefits, risks, and proper use of medical cannabis.
Compliance: Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards related to medical cannabis dispensing.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and team members to provide comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications:

Medical Degree (MBChB or equivalent)
Valid medical license to practice in South Africa
Experience in primary care or family medicine preferred
Knowledge of medical cannabis and its therapeutic applications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Commitment to patient care and compassion
