Reporting to: Group Manager

Location: Kriel Centre

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and develop the gardens of the Centre.
Cut grass, control weeds, rake leaves, plant new trees, flowers, and various plants.
Ensure that all garden equipment is correctly maintained and serviced.
Clear rubbish and litter away from the gardens, grounds, and empty bins.
Lay down paving and concrete slabs to create walkways.
Clean male restrooms daily.
Ensure that windows and doors are locked.
General handwork and maintenance of office buildings and office equipment.
Perform other ad-hoc activities as required by the Office.

Minimum Requirements

Proven experience in plumbing.
Knowledge in electricity.
Driver’s license.
Forklift experience will be considered an advantage.

Related Minimum Experience

01 – 02 years’ experience as a gardener/handyman.
Previous experience in gardening, including the use of pesticides and fertilizers.
Ability to use garden machinery safely.
Demonstrated experience in conducting general handy work.
Preference will be given to residents of the Kriel Region.
