We are currently recruiting for Investigative Consultants in Stafford.

Duration: 4 weeks initially (with possibility of extension)

Daily Rate: 172.50 per day

We are seeking experienced Investigative Consultants to support with a large-scale investigation in the Staffordshire area. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a significant investigation and make a substantial impact on public safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough investigations
Retrieve and review CCTV, helicopter, drone, EGT, and BWV evidence
Identify and interview suspects and witnesses
Prepare comprehensive case files for prosecution
Contribute to the swift processing of existing evidence
Outside enquiries and statement taking
Support the timely progression of cases through the Criminal Justice system
Collaborate with other team members and integrate with existing Police operations

Required Criteria:

Policing background
Previous experience using HOLMES.
Extensive experience in conducting complex criminal investigations
Strong understanding of CCTV and video evidence analysis
Proficiency in interview techniques for both suspects and witnesses
Experience in preparing case files for prosecution
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Proficiency in relevant police IT systems

Desirable Criteria:

Experience in major crime investigations
Current NPPV2 vetting or higher is desirable but not compulsory
PIP2 accreditation or equivalent experience
